eh, this isn't completely true

pancakes made correctly are better sure. Not disagreeing there

but shitty pancakes that are too dry or starchy or bland are no good whereas waffles are fairly consistent in their composure and tougher to screw up

it goes: good pancake > waffle > shitty pancake
